1. Who we are

The Biz Heroes designs and builds websites for trades and local businesses across the UK. You can reach us at info@thebizheroes.uk or on 07851 211230.

These terms apply whenever you ask us for a preview, buy a website from us, or keep a website hosted with us.

2. The free preview

You can ask us for a preview by filling in the form on our front page. We build it from the details you give us, including your Google Business listing where you share one.

The preview is free and there is no obligation to buy. You may ask for changes, and you are free to walk away without paying anything.

3. Price and payment

• Building and handing over your website is a one-off payment of £350.
• Keeping the website live is £25 a month for hosting and the web address.
• We only take payment once you have seen the finished website and told us you are happy with it.
• Payments are taken securely by card through Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• All prices are in pounds sterling.

4. Hosting and small changes

Your monthly fee covers hosting the website, keeping the address working, and small text changes such as a new phone number or an added service.

Bigger work, such as a redesign or a new section, is quoted separately before we start it.

If a monthly payment fails, we will get in touch. If it stays unpaid, we may take the website offline until it is brought up to date.

5. Cancelling

There is no contract and no minimum term. You can stop the monthly hosting at any time by emailing us, and the website comes offline at the end of the month you have paid for.

The one-off build fee is not refundable once the website has gone live, because the work has been done and handed over.

6. What you give us

You are responsible for the photos, text, reviews and details you send us. By sending them you confirm you have the right to use them on your website.

Please check that your prices, opening hours, qualifications and contact details are accurate. We publish what you give us.

We may remove or refuse anything that is unlawful, misleading, or that belongs to someone else.

7. Your website and what we own

The design, layout and code we write stay our property. While you are hosting with us, you have the right to use the finished website for your business.

If you leave, we will hand over your written content, photos and address settings so you can move elsewhere. You may not resell or copy our design for other businesses.

We may show the website as an example of our work on our own site and in our marketing. Tell us if you would rather we did not.

8. Use of the website

You agree not to use the website for anything unlawful, to send spam through any form on it, or to resell the service to someone else as your own.

9. Our responsibility

We do the work with reasonable skill and care, and we aim to have most websites ready within 24 hours of your request.

We are not responsible for lost profits, lost business or indirect losses, or for anything caused by a hosting provider, a search engine, or a change you or someone else makes to the site after handover.

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page is the one that applies. If we make a significant change, we will let customers with a live website know by email.

11. Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
